Aep is finally over. The final grading is decided by 3 other teachers from rgs and rjc.

One of them was Mr Chia. Although I had only one conversation with him, I respected him. Another one was a female teacher who is quite kind in her remarks. Finally, it was a male teacher who was quite critical but i think quite true and had points for me worth considering.

I wasn't satisfied with the final product of my painting, actually I didn't really finish it. The teachers thought that the colour mixture was quite nice but didn't really quite being able to come out with the meaning of the painting, which i crapped out at the end. The female teacher suggested me to plan more before trying to finally paint it on the canvas. The male teacher thought that the colours didn't really bring out what I was supposed to show with the art work. Mr Chia said that he was disappointed with the painting. He found one of my older paintings really good and liked the sensitivity in the colours and stuff, but he said he found none on my painting. He gave me a word: pity.

I reflected on the teachers comment and I thought that instead of trying to make out a style of my own, i should start with the details. Another thing i realised is the reason i have started to paint impressionism styled paintings was because maybe i was too lazy to paint things. I think in order to improve my painting, I would have to think more, plan more and be hardworking. I hope through this I would be a better painter and I hope i will be able to apply it to other subjects and to aspects of life as well.

Aep is finally over, it seemed really short. Its a bit sad when i think back, the fun and good times we had during secondary three with ah min, cheng han and yong kong. Although many many things have changed this year, the experience was ultimately a very enriching one. We were forced to do things maybe we thought not suitable for us but I think it made me improve.

Today was a rather fun day.

First in the morning there was pe, and due to the generous sacrifices of the likes of benjamin lee, tony etc who failed their nafa test, we were able to play soccer for the past 3 sessions of pe. Today, we got to play on the astrotuff and it was better as there are goal posts there instead of cones, so can also shoot more accurately without the fear of shooting over. Aiya the feeling is just there la.

I was captain with f tay. I chose ah min, jing heng, joshua, jin kang and yi ping. While f tay chose julian, zi yang, ju jie, wei xin and da wei.

The match wasn't very smooth for us at first as f tay for some reason was the keeper and for some reason he's freaking good. Its either ah min hit the post, jing heng miss or my ball too soft. But it went well soon after i sorted the positions a bit.

I scored the first one with ah min's cross from the right flank. It was quite tyco as it hit my knee and went straight in. The second one was my solo effort :D, received a good pass from jin kang ( the keeper ) and skipped past a defender before shooting it quite hard at a very diao angle. :D Third goal was quite crappy, jing heng was one on one with the keeper and f tay chiong out very aggressively, which he sort of stuned jing heng, but luckily jh passed it to ah min who just tapped it in. Ok.. fourth one, ah min one on one with f tay he rounded him and shot the ball but it was blocked by bao who was laying in the goal post after his 2.4. Finally, last goal, dribbled past 2 defenders and gave it a long shot :D mao zi xi fa!.

Yeah soccer rox. Hope can play even more, liverpool better have better results next season man after spending so much money, but i dont think they can win the epl though. Torres is not enuff and he might not be able to adapt yossi i dont noe much about him and just hope babel is not a flop.

Today we went down to ACRES again, we showed them the posters and stuff they wanted one and wanted us to change another. Yeah thats about it.

School just started for a week or so and i have already started to feel super sian, partly i think is because of the huge debt of homework i didn't touch during the holidays.

I thought school would be fun. But then i realized that things are not going to be the same again. Since after this term there will be no lessons, the teachers have started piling the loads of projects on our backs like crazy. So basically we are doing twice the load of work in one term let alone to chiong for the final year examination at the end of D.M.P.

AEP was becoming more and more depressing, Miss D have left the school and i don't really like Miss TTT who is left in charge. Also since ah min left AEP, there wasn't any fun in the whole class anymore. Last year it was a joy to go to AEP and whack metal rulers with kong, ah min and chenghan, then after that crack some super lame jokes before singing songs with kong and ah min like retards. Chenghan left first, then ah min. Now only kong and me are left. AEP has gradually become a torture, the environment there is just like a classic office enviornment that is shown on TV. Suanning everywhere, sabotages, backstabs and now even the teacher joins in! Whoah shiok sia.

Recently, i am back to reading chinese novels. Gu Longs' ones especially since ah min really recommends them. The main difference between Gu Long and Gin Yong's novels are that the first focuses on describing scenes and characters and making you emo ( emo is nice at times :D ) while Gin Yong really describes the movements of the martial arts skillls really detaily and nice though the there isn't really parts of 高潮s in the novels unless you include the characters learning new skills which is quite exciting. I like both of the authors and can't really seem to find which one i like more, so i think ill finish reading Gu Longs' set of novels before making a conclusion then.

Maybe ill consider making a chinese blog like ah min and post some interesting stuff, but i think it will end up like nothing since im so lazy and i don't think i read as much as ah min so ill think about it first.
